Milan Design Week 2025: ultimate guide through the city’s artistic soul

Milan Design Week 2025 has transformed Milan into a grand stage, being filled with hundreds of installations, exhibitions, and magical secrets created by creative artists from around the globe. Today, we’re here to guide you through the hidden gems you might have missed and share some fresh updates straight from the heart of the action. Buckle up—this magical week is just beginning to unfold!

Concept store turns into a highlight of the Milan Design Week

Milan Design Week is loved and appreciated by masses, and the reason lies within the ability to experience it without even intending to do so. Meaning, designs are everywhere, all you have to do is open your eyes. Thus, Corso Como 10, a concept store, proposed its participation in the event. By opening its doors, it offered visitors a glimpse into a plethora of projects, installations, and artworks. Among them was a striking installation featuring a room adorned with 1,500 crystal garland strands.

There are also prototypes developed by the studio “Layer” created by Benjamin Hubert. The 101010 exhibition features approximately 50 past projects together with six objects facing the issues we might be experiencing over the next 10 years and which might have a harmful impact on humanity.

Hidden gems

Another rule for this week – any open courtyards in the design week’s districts must be seen. The ability to visit hidden courtyards makes the period special, as per usual they are closed for any visitors. There you can find installations of the furniture, dj sets and more. In this way, many of the courtyards can be found in the famous Brera district. Nevertheless, other districts like Tortona area, Durini Design District and Porta Venezia Design District should definitely be not overlooked.
