This year’s central theme, “Mondi Connessi” – which translates from Italian as “Connected Worlds” – talks for itself explaining the main direction for this edition. Salone del Mobile at Fiera Milano Rho opens with The Night Before – Object Chairs Opera by Robert Wilson at La Scala and Museo del Novecento, featuring John Giorno and more.

Beyond the main exhibitions, Milan’s design scenes can be seen across six must-visit districts which all provide even more engaging and interactive experience. Among them there is the Tortona area, Brera Design district, Durini Design District , Porta Venezia Design District and 5VIE. Nevertheless, the best advice for the week is to explore on foot and stay curious—keep your eyes open, and you might just stumble upon an installation where you least expect it!
