Sanremo, while at its very core is a renowned music festival, it can also be a fashion spectacle in its own right.
Sanremo: a place where music and fashion reunite
The Sanremo Music Festival, – inarguably one of the most influential events in popular Italian culture, has passed. While it has launched the careers of many famous Italian artists and provided a significant platform for both established stars and newcomers, Sanremo is equally a celebration of fashion and visual inspirations. Since clothes not only help to better convey the key idea of a song and of its artist, but simultaneously underlines collaboration between the music and fashion industry.
Elegantly ‘Born With A Broken Heart’
Another bright appearance was made by Damiano David during the second evening in Valentino. With an intention to combine classic tailoring with contemporary flair, the brand chosen by the artist created a look which attracted a lot of attention to the stage and develop the storytelling even more. Eye-catching combination of accessories with clothes, such as cherry grain de poudre pants and the light ivory silk georgette shirt had a deep V-neck was enhanced with the fringed scarf and the black satin belt.
Moreover, the Valentino Garavani black leather ankle boots helped to create a polished finish to the whole outfit. As always, the appearance of the popular singer and song-writer was iconic and memorable, not leaving fans unsettled.

Where sophistication meets rebellion
Majestic, eye-catching and elegant – three words that would describe the appearance of Achille Lauro in Dolce&Gabbana at the Sanremo Festival. Especially seen and appreciated was the look from the second evening, styled by Nicolò Cerioni with a custom Dolce&Gabbana Alta Sartoria suit inspired by the divas of the past, reflecting Achille’s song Incoscienti Giovani. Consisting of the double-breasted suit in white pinstriped wool gabardine and a matching coat with a black velvet floral brooch, the outfit was supplemented with slicked-back hair with a deep side part and subtly enhanced eyes.
The general authentic look of the singer, helps the outfit to fit perfectly with his personality and uniqueness. Thus, great sensitivity of the brand towards the artist created an amazing visual experience for all of the fans and viewers of the festival.

Elettra-fying presence
Living up to her name, Elettra Lamborghini undoubtedly is the embodiment of electric energy. The living proof of that are her breathtaking outfit designs – particularly the gorgeous gown that enchantingly stole the spotlight on the 3rd night. It’s a couture masterpiece in itself, that completely blurred the line between fashion and art. The deep green and blue hues of the dress paired with sheer overlays, framed Elettra in an ethereal tableau coming to life. While the flowing turquoise tulle, was the dramatic cherry on top, further emphasizing her mythical-like appearance.
She was an otherworldly vision – that is for certain.

The ‘Cuoricini’ duo in style
Leave it to the hip-hop duo, Coma_Cose, to bring sophisticated vintage flair in the sea of fashion on the Red Carpet night of Sanremo. Francesca Mesiano absolutely radiated theatrical elegance, wearing a baroque-patterned cape, paired with lace tights. Yet her platform heels unmistakably added a modern spin to her outfit. In equal measure, Fausto Lama rocked the plaid suit, infusing the overall look with a subtle nostalgic charm, plus a slight retro tone.
The two singers didn’t simply walk the Red Carpet in style – they indisputably turned their entrance into a cinematic scene.

Dazzling in gold as ‘Everything Else Is Boredom’

Right off the bat, her look on the 4th night is particularly remarkable, as her shimmering gold gown perfectly captures the essence of Old Hollywood glamour. While the black feathered hemline of her dress brings a hint of drama, whilst naturally complementing her bright red hair.
By keeping the accessories simple, Noemi lets the outfit do the talking – timeless beauty.
